Gërmimet e përbashkëta shqiptaro-franceze qe po bëhen ne qytetin e lashte te Apolonisë kane sjelle ne drite fakte te reja mbi datën e themelit te këtij qyteti. Ne rrënojat e themeleve te Agorase, sipas specialisteve janë gjetur pjese terrakotash qe paraqesin elemente me te lashte te qytetërimit te Apolonisë, çka hedh hipoteza se ky qytet mund te jete populluar me heret se viti 585 para Krishtit. Ekspeditat e përbashkëta qe vazhdojnë prej vitesh kane nxjerre ne drite nje numër te konsiderueshëm objektesh. Mes busteve dhe statujave te mermerta përfshihen edhe objekte te përmasave me te vogla por qe duket se do te ndryshojnë referencat historike për lindjen dhe perëndimin e atij qe quhet ndryshe "Qyteti i diellit".

Excavation of the Albanian-French joint being made in ancient city of Apollonia have brought to light new facts on the date of the foundation of the city. We ruins of the agora foundations, according to experts found part terracotta elements that represent the ancient civilization of Apollonia, which throws the hypothesis that this city can be populated earlier than the year 585 BC. Joint expeditions to continue for years have brought to light a significant number of objects. Among the marble bust and statues including objects with small size but appears to differ historical references of the East and West otherwise called "sun city".
