Mrekullitë natyrore ne vendin tone janë te shumta, por padyshim një prej tyre është dhe Dumreja e Elbasanit, e njohur si një nga perlat karstike me te bukura te Mesdheut. Mund te konsiderohet si një dhurate e çmuar qe i ka bere natyre kësaj zone, ku 85 liqene karstike e kane kthyer atë ne një vend turistik te lakmueshëm për turistet vendas dhe te huaj. Dhimiter Gjoshi është një emigrant qe pushimet verore preferon ti kaloje pikërisht ne këtë vend. Banoret e zonës tregojnë se kjo zone mbart vlera historike. Sipas tyre disa vite me pare liqeni i Seferaj u tha për shkak te thatësirës se madhe, por ne pah dolën shume vlera antike, një nga këto ishte edhe një skulpture e mbretëreshës Afërdite. Por si shume zona te tjera te vendit, problemi kryesor i saj mbetet infrastruktura. Ndonëse bashkia ka fituar një projekt prej 600 milion lekesh për shëtitoren rreth liqenit, por kjo është pak për zhvillimin e turizmit dhe tërheqjen e turisteve.
